Abbi Davis (she/her) first started working with the CrEST Faculty Director, Prof. Raja GuhaThakurta, back in 2015 in her role as the Associate Director of Development in the Division of Physical and Biological Sciences. She later served as the Diversity Director for SIP, focused on advancing educational equity through access and support for under-resourced and underrepresented students to SIP. After a break which included an international move, Abbi was thrilled to rejoin the CrEST Team in October 2023 as the CrEST Global Liaison. Abbi has a degree in Biochemistry from the University of York (UK) which incorporated a year of study at UC Santa Cruz. After university, she spent 10 years working in the Bay Area in biotech sales, before consciously transitioning her career to the non-profit sector in 2015. Ever since, she has focused her work on supporting animals and youth. Abbi now lives in the UK with her husband, daughter, and son. She adores animals and enjoys sunshine, live shows, and family pedals.
