Alumni Buddies

The Alumni Buddies program is a near-peer mentoring of high school SIP interns who work with SIP alumni. This is an important part of the SIP program at UCSC and helps provide benefits to both the current interns of SIP and creates a community for the alumni to participate in.

Trajectories

Trajectories is an effort to trace the academic and career trajectories of SIP alumni.

Peer-to-Peer College and Career Network (P2C2N)

A network of SIP alumni and their parents who volunteer to provide free college admissions/navigation and career advice to current SIP interns and their families

Teachers in SIP (TSIP)

Pre-service teachers (undergraduates who are training to become high school STEM teachers) work alongside high school students on open-ended STEAM research projects under the mentorship of experts. The TSIP program is a partnership between the STEM Teacher and Researcher (STAR) program at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and the SIP program at UCSC.

Community College Students in SIP (CSIP)

Community college students work alongside high school students on open-ended STEAM research projects under the mentorship of experts. The CSIP program is a partnership between Foothill College (Los Altos, CA) and the SIP program at UCSC.
